A few summer releases

I was browsing around the summer releases in France, and found a few gems, including:

• a new Tim Burton called “9” (well, the Burton is only producer but hey)
• an interesting comedy starring Carrey and McGregor, called I love you Philip Morris (a gay McGregor, what’s not to like)
• a Ron Howard documentary, In the Shadow of the Moon looks quite cool.
• 12 Rounds looks fairly cool too.

Oh, and to prove that France is a bit lame - the release date for The Reader is July 15th! :shock: In the middle of a heatwave, more people will probably faint :roll: And (hint, hint) Robbie the Reel won’t be there to save fainting people!

(also, trailer for Shyamalan’s latest, The Last Airbender is out. Looks like the man is going all mystic on us, sort of a la Lady in the Water :? )

My brother saw 12 Rounds when he went to America a few months ago. He said it wasn’t very good.

The fainting happened at the other Kate Winslet film, Revolutionary Road.
