Best films of 2009 (?!)

yes i know we haven’t has xmas yet but obviously its nearly the new year…

Knowing (43) looks interesting. Can we put it on the summer term schedule?
And so does The Box (38 ).
Let’s get Fanboys (33) - it should be real fun from what the trailer shows.
Actually, from 33 onwards, much of it looks really cool: Inkheart should do better than Spiderwick, The Surrogates has Bruce Willis in it, The Spirit looks awesome…, Dorian Gray can be really good or really bad (I remember how the character was in The League…)
Oooh and I am so excited about number 26 (S. Darko), Ice Age
3
, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Heath Ledger’s final film.

But most importantly, a Neil Gaiman book comes to screen (Coraline)!!

hmm not sure about fanboys, apparently its been chopped and changed to hell, and i dont think even the mightiness of the shatner can remedy such horrors :S

s. Darko… :x   … in that order

Terminator Salvation, Watchmen and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen look like some blockbuster fun for next year.

Inglourious Basterds is Tarantino’s latest film

Star Trek (and s. Darko) look like they’re going to be a bit crap but I don’t think I’ll be able to not watch them :?

Public Enemies looks cool. Michael Mann, Christian Bale, Johnny Depp and a gangster film theme! What more could you want?

The new star trek trailer for all to enjoy:

Nemesis brroke the rule that all even numbered star trek movies are good, hopefully XI will break the rule that all odd ones are bad.

Surely a bit of Bruce Willis wouldn’t go amiss?

Now, i’m not too adverse to the notion of re-making the old-style version, but the actors all look a bit too young - maybe i’m just being old and boring, having watched star trek for donkeys years, but that’s my view :-p

I have to agree with you. I’m also concerned that even if it is an allright film it just won’t be a proper Star Trek film.
