Zoe Saldana? Seriously? What a travesty.

Were these voted for by Empire readers?

The polls were held on the Empire web site, so of sorts yes. I voted.

Best horror: Let the right one in

What?? WHAT??? Scarier than Paranormal Activity??? It wasn’t even a horror!!! (Well, not that I remember anyways - just a story about being accepted or something like that…)

:?

Agreed - CGI isn’t really acting - sure it’s based on what you do, but they can change everything on the computer, so the acting really doens’t have to be all that :?

It’s undoubtedly the better film though, but yes, I do question its presence in that field… I think that I plumped for a certain Antichrist… not really a horror either, yet truly horrific

At least Antichrist was a bit more of a horror film than Let the Right One In. I guess the problem is that people were voting for their favourite film in the horror genre (even if it’s fairly loosely linked to the genre) instead of the film that does horror best.

Strangely enough they didn’t do that for the Sci-Fi section where Star Trek beat Avatar. :?
