:slight_smile: Techincally I stole it from Rob the year before so I won’t hold a grudge. I’m hoping to have seen most of the best picture nominees in the next couple of weeks so I’ll hold off on my predictions until then.

I haven’t seen Amour, Beasts of the Southern Wild, The Sessions or most of the animated films yet so can’t really comment on them. Here are my picks on what I have seen though:

Looking back over 2012 I don’t think it achieved the same hights as previous years. Granted, it was good year for comic book films but beyond that there were a lot of very good films that fell short of being excellent. For example, from 2011 I’d put The Artist, Tinker Tailor Solider Spy, Drive and Margin Call above pretty much everything that came out this year…
