This looks like a rather charming adaptation of everyone’s childhood favourite.

but hope this doesn’t spawn a new genre of films…
I think the idea of a psychotic nursery rhymes genre. I don’t think I could make it through a nursery rhyme inspired film without some sort of gratuitous violence. How about Jack and Jill where Jack is a werewolf? Mary, Mary, quite contrary with man eating planets? Baa, Baa, Black Sheep with crazed zombie sheep? (Oh wait. I think they’ve already made the last one.)
