Superman returns by court ruling

It sounds like there might be another Superman film on the way.

The fact that Warners have to make it to avoid being sued though doesn’t exactly sound promising. :?

I was let down by that article. I imagined something along the lines of “Superman Returns is an offense to any kind of good taste, you need to make up for it by putting forward a decent film.”

If judges could punish people for making crap films the makers of Blade Trinity would still be in jail and we’d be spared from this:

It was not an offence to any kind of good taste. It was okay at worst. There were laughs, a fantastic plan by the baddie, great special effects, you can’t fault the acting, even by the kid, and Kevin Spacey as Lex Luthor?

So they’ve fought to keep the rights and by doing so, they’ve got to make a film that they’re not really that keen on…

Interesting!

Just shows how the only thing that matters in hollywood is money. Making it and preventing others from making their own :frowning:

Oddly enough I couldn’t really say what specifically was wrong with it as I did like most of those things. It’s just one of the films I found ok to watch once but couldn’t face seeing again.
