Just look at which Arnie classic they’re destroying 
It will give them plenty of license to do some awesome spacey/alieny visual effects, but still, it shouldn’t be allowed. It’s one of his genuinely good films, almost in spite of his involvement 
And just look who they’ve got playing Arnie… it’s not fair!!!

That’s wrong on so many levels!
I guess they could make it work if they went for a more scifi and less action approach to the idea than the original. At least then it might be more its own film than a remake.
I suspect they won’t though which would make it another unnecessary remake of a film that got it right on the first attempt.
And now they’re going for one of cinema’s alternate reality offerings, but they don’t know how to do it yet:
Logan’s Run is actually one of my favourite films. I suspect the remake is going to end up really annoying me.
