This film looks like it’s actually a comedy about a man and a woman getting together but not a romantic comedy. Is it?
It’s not a romantic comedy, it isn’t even a comedy about getting together. It’s a comedy alright, but the small bits of romance (of which there are very few if any) is just a periodic nuance.
Its fun how you can recognize Palahniuk’s style of writing throughout it, though I was actually expecting the film to be different, a little more on the serious side.
